Searcher: ... No doubt their new bodies will be...
No doubt? Evidently.
can anyone tell me what the wt teaches about the resurrection of the earthly class?
do they get completely different bodies or is it a resurrection of the present body?
also, since most of scripture is written for the annointed class, and the annointed class are supposed to go to heaven in spirit bodies, how do they handle romans 8:11?.

it's just a silly door-knocking related picture, but it's generated a bit of arguing about how he shouldn't make fun of them.
plus there are some apologist/"apostate" facebook wars... the best kind of wars, right?!
I could not find it. I did see a post on his timeline, where he says he is married to a white DUDE.

I love it when the kids get up and sing. At our previous church, my daughter (age 6) was in the "Kidz Choir." We recorded one of their performances, and my JW dad actually let us play it for them on his computer. My mother, sister, brother in law, niece and nephew all watched. As soon as it started, my brother in law left the room (which was a tiny computer room, that we would barely all fit inside).
After the middle of the 2nd song, my sister said, "Ok, that's enough..." and she left. My dad turned it off. We left a copy for them. My mom said it was cute.
They were not Christmas songs, nor were they songs about the trinity. I don't remember which songs they were, but nothing that shouted "false doctrine," at least not to my limited understanding of the JW's.
Later, when my sister called me and attempted to explain to me that it was HER decision to protect her children from me (not her husband's). When I presssed her about what apostasy and idolatry we were displaying, she said it was hard to explain to her kids, especially when we FORCED them to sit there and watch my daughter singing in front of a HUGE GLOWING CROSS!
Wow... It had come to the point, where I didn't even notice that up there, and I did not notice it in the video either.
Did this church have a big cross up behind the stage, and did it bother you? I admit, it bothered me for awhile, and I was never even a JW. The thing that made us leave that church, was the "watered-down gospel," and some hypocrisy of the preacher.
as i was laying in bed i thought of a question to ask my wife.
"when the wt has an article on the next change in teaching or new light, just guessing, what do you think it might be?".
it does not need to be phrased just like that, but i thought it might be a powerful question since it would make the jw subconsciously question all of the current teachings, something they are not taught to do.
Neverknew: I got the "but we're the only ones who preach" argument which I countered with the Pentacostal growth.
The JW's do not have exclusive rights on spreading the gospel of Christ to the ends of the world. They are not the only ones preaching... they are the only ones who make that claim, and repeat it to each other at every meeting.
One of my close friends is a missionary in Papua New Guinea. Our small church supports missionaries in Brazil, Guatemala, India and other countries, including an outreach to the Jews in Israel.
The JW's are the only religion that REQUIRES everyone to go door-to-door, whether this is their talent or not. They are not allowed to use the talents given to them, but are supposed to force themselves into a mold that may not fit their personality or skills. They are not the only ones who preach.
You could also counter with a question about how fruitful their preaching work is. "How many people have been baptized into your congregation, as a result of your preaching work? (not counting born-ins or other family members). In how many years?"
You will know them by their fruits. Shunning. Child abuse scandals.

Sounds great! Good for you, giving it a try. What was the music like? Did you enjoy it?

Thanks for sharing this ... how brazen can they be?
Just for fun, I used my dictionary.com app to look up "clarify." Check out definition 1. (I am not insinuating anything about the words of the governing body...)
Clar´i`fy
v. t. | 1. | To make clear or bright by freeing from feculent matter; to defecate; to fine; - said of liquids, as wine or sirup. |
2. | To make clear; to free from obscurities; to brighten or illuminate. To clarify his reason, and to rectify his will. - South.
3. | To glorify. Fadir, clarifie thi name. - Wyclif (John ii. 28).
v. i. | 1. | To grow or become clear or transparent; to become free from feculent impurities, as wine or other liquid under clarification. |
2. | To grow clear or bright; to clear up. Whosoever hath his mind fraught with many thoughts, his wits and understanding do clarify and break up in the discoursing with another. - Bacon. |

i have been suffering from fatigue, burning in my stomach, and i have always had canker sore issues as long as i can remember.
whether it's from stress or not, i can't say, but i might be getting an ulcer.
the burning in my stomach and intestinal puffiness is getting to be be chronic.
Paleo diet is hard! Good luck to you, and I hope it makes you feel better. I think it would be hard to eat like that forever. The diet I try to follow, is similar to the Paleo diet, but you can have grains and few more foods.
I have had success with the Virgin Diet (By JJ Virgin). Eliminate 7 foods that can cause inflammation: soy, wheat, dairy, peanuts, sugar, corn, eggs. You follow this 100% for 3 weeks, then introduce the foods one at a time, to see what bothers your system.
I suffer from ulcers, due to the fact that I have a small stomach (gastric bypass). My doctor prescribed a PPI, which inhibits the acid in the stomach. My ulcers are cured. I think my intolerance to wheat and sugar is worse because of my surgery. I learned a lot on this diet, but still lack discipline to eat right, so I get sick a lot.
While on the Virgin Diet, I lost 16 pounds in 2 weeks (mostly bloating), my stomach went flat, I had even energy, less mood swings. I felt great! I introduced wheat, and noticed my face and hands were puffy, my knuckles were stiff. Sugar gives me a bad stomachache and bloating, so I look like I am 3 months pregnant. It's funny, you don't realize how sick you are, until you feel better. (I'm starting again on Monday, I really am! haha)
I wish you success, and I hope you find what works for you!

Great comments! Thank you for this.
It really sounds like they are grooming both the flock and the elders, for whatever is coming next. Another lesson about obedience to the org.
Elders: You obey us. We speak for Jehovah.
Congregation: Look at how wonderful your elders are! Remember, they are in charge, and they only have your best interest in mind. If you are weak, they will help you remain strong in your trials (that we have planned for you).
